The Support - 2019

The Support comments on a romantic relationship that builds upon mutual dependence—although sensitive and vulnerable, the tight knit connection between a couple hoists each other strongly. The bricks standing vertical to uphold the monitor is a metaphor for the kinship. In the video, the woman with disabled legs encourages her exhausted man in an unexpected way. While humming a song that confesses her subtle emotions, the woman stands on her own legs to have the man rest on her wheel chair. This work is devoted to couples who have each other on their backs.
